- Login to Bugzilla
- Click the “Administration” link in the header or footer
- Click “Field Values” link
- Click “Status” field
- Click “Add” link at the bottom
- A new page to add a new value for the “Status” field will open.
- Enter “Value”- required
- Enter “Sortkey” – required
- “Status” can be open or closed (closed Status- requires a resolution)
Note: The open/close attribute can only be set once, when you create the status. It cannot be edited later
- Click on “Add” link
